The first review of the book is in, and its quite positive...

The thorough review was done by Matthew Pennell of Digital Web. Some choice quotes:

...the result is an engaging and illuminating volume that well deserves its place on any JavaScript author’s bookshelf.
...it is refreshing to see [Object-Oriented] concepts covered in such a comprehensive, understandable way in a commercial JavaScript book.
To his credit, Resig only mentions jQuery three times, and always in conjunction with other libraries. In the end, rather than what could have been a promotional piece, you are instead left with one of the most thorough and well-written books for truly professional JavaScript authors.

He also includes some (most likely deserved) criticism on the pacing and structure of the book - noting the added emphasis on topics such as DOM and Event handling. He definitely makes some good points - and anyone interested in purchasing the book should give his review a good read. Thanks, Matthew, for a great first review!

Excuse me, that without knock has entered into your possession. I simply wish to make your site better. A backstreet boy fan fiction , that is necessary for us. Once again thanks for understanding. Good luck.
